Antenatal Clinic

First appointments with the midwife are run on Monday afternoons at Spring Hill.

Baby Clinic

Baby clinics are run by the health visitors, Monday afternoons at Spring Hill.

Asthma Clinic

This is run Thursday afternoons by retired district nurse Pat Parker in conjunction with the doctors, by appointment only.

Diabetic Clinic

Wednesday 11.00am - 12.15pm. This is run by the practice nurse in conjunction with Dr Dickson by appointment only.

Family Planning Clinic

Contraceptive care is provided by all the doctors during surgery hours.

Well Woman Clinics

The practice nurse carries out smear tests. These can be booked any day and time during her working hours.

Minor Surgery

Drs Dickson, Craggs and Zurob carry out minor surgical procedures at Spring Hill surgery by appointment and will be happy to advise you on this.

Non-NHS Examinations

The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment. Please ask at reception for the charges for these services.

Travel Immunisations/Vaccinations

Please make an appointment in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover (please check how long is required). A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations, which are not covered by the NHS. A list of these charges is held at reception.

Flu Vaccination

An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and rest homes.

Please contact the reception staff in September for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery, a home visit will be arranged to undertake this facility.
