Emergencies
If you are confronted
by a serious problem such as acute chest pain or severe bleeding, call an ambulance
(telephone: 999) before calling the surgery.
Emergencies Out Of Hours
Between the hours of:
6.30pm and 8.00am Monday to Friday
6.30pm Friday to 8.00am Monday
If you
have a medical emergency during the above hours and you require advice, an appointment
or a home visit (where appropriate), you need to dial the surgery telephone number
01676 540395 and your call will automatically be redirected through to the out-of-hours service.
NHS Direct
NHS Direct offers a 24 hour helpline which is nurse-led. The telephone number for this service is 0845 4647 and their website address is www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk.
Disabled Access
At Spring Hill Medical
Centre wheelchair access to the building is via the door at the side of the building.
Please ring the bell to alert the receptionist that you have arrived.
At the Galley Common Surgery reserved car parking spaces for the disabled are
marked near the front door. Wheelchair access to the building is via the front
entrance. Patient services are provided at ground level. A disabled patients'
WC is provided near the front entrance.
If access proves difficult to any of our disabled patients we would be happy to
consider any suggestions for improvement.
