Posted on 11 Sep 2020
IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19
The practice has a freestanding leaflet board in the entrance porch at both sites
If you have already spoken to a doctor or a nurse and your appointment has been agreed with them, please go to reception.
If you have not spoken to a doctor or a nurse please read the leaflet below before entering the surgery.
We have printed patient leaflets but we are asking all patients……
- Do you have any of the following symptoms: cough or fever/ temperature or shortness of breath?
- Have you had close contact with a confirmed case of Coronavirus (covid 19) in the last 14 days?
- Have you travelled abroad in the last 14 days?
If yes to any of these questions please do not enter the surgery.
Please go home and check the NHS website for Coronavirus guidance.
You may need to visit 111.nhs.uk/covid-19 for further advice on your symptoms or if unable to do this, then telephone 111.
Please do not enter the surgery without telephoning the surgery first.
If the answer is NO to ALL three questions then please proceed to the practice receptionist.
The receptionist will take your details and arrange for a clinician to contact you by telephone if necessary.
Our Nursing team will have prebooked appointments- all patients will be contacted prior to their appointment /before coming into the building. Patients can enter the building and wait as long as they answer no to all 3 questions. Receptionists will ask through the 3 questions again before checking patients in.
Automatic check is not to be used and is currently turned off.
PATIENTS PLEASE BE AWARE : If patients are seen to walk past the notice board then we will direct you out of the building. Double check the 3 questions before taking any other details at the desk- if any answer yes ask them to leave immediately.
We are reminding all patients to use the hand gel on reception.
