ALERT – 5 NOVEMBER 2020
COVID-19 case numbers are rising rapidly across the whole of the UK. We must act now to control the spread of the virus. The single most important action we can all take to fight coronavirus is to stay at home, to protect the NHS and save lives.
Due to an incident at the Practice : Do NOT attend the Practice if you have recently been:
- tested positive or have COVID19 (including 14 days plus) – ring the practice in the first instance
- and / or still symptomatic or developed new COVID19 symptoms - You need to arrange to have a test, stay at home.
OUR STAFF WILL BE ASKING PATIENTS IF THEY HAVE ANY NEW OR EXISTING COVID19 SYMPTOMS BEFORE BOOKING ANY FURTHER APPOINTMENTS AND BEFORE YOU ENTER THE PRACTICE UNTIL END OF THE NATIONAL LOCKDOWN.
When we reduce our day-to-day contact with other people, we reduce the spread of the infection. That is why, from Thursday 5 November until Wednesday 2 December, you must:
- Stay at home, except for specific purposes.
- Avoid meeting people you do not live with, except for specific purposes.
These new measures will reduce the growth rate of the virus which will prevent the NHS from being overwhelmed – Please support us by adhering to measures in place and do not risk our staff, their families and other patients health and safety.
Letters will be provided by the government and sent to patients who are classed as extremely vulnerable ONLY – these include adults, children and young people.
Please visit our website for up to date information on COVID19, lockdown, support and reassurance and anything else medical/practice related : https://www.springhillmedicalcentre.co.uk

Important Patient Notice - updated 6th April 2020
As you are aware Galley Common is temporarily closed until further notice. We are now in a position as a practice to advise that the premises has now been offered to North Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group short-term to provide a COVID19 assessment Hub In the early stages of the pandemic, there will be capacity in primary care to provide this and it will be key to provide contingency capacity to ensure those patients do not then default to secondary care and going to emergency departments.
PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE CARPARK OR PREMISES FOR ANY REASON. YOU MUST RING SPRING HILL ON: 01676 540 395 – AGAIN PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE TO THE PRACTICE WITH THE EXPECTATION TO BE SEEN BY CLINICAL OR NON CLINICAL STAFF – YOU MUST RING THE PRACTICE IN THE FIRST INSTANCE AND NHS 111 IF THE PRACTICE IS CLOSED.
