Mary's story
Mary has lived with depression for years. During that time she survived an abusive marriage, brought up four children on her own and overcame many other obstacles. Unsurprisingly, Mary’s mental health wobbled at times but she tried to maintain a normal life.
We have supported Mary’s recovery over the years and seen her self-esteem and confidence blossom. She now runs a women’s only group and has taken up volunteering opportunities.
We can help you with issues that may be having an effect on your wellbeing. This may be things like dealing with debt and money worries, a drug or alcohol problem, managing your mental wellbeing, education and training opportunities, finding somewhere to live or issues affecting you at work, with the family or a relationship.
Our Wellbeing hubs are based in Bedworth and Nuneaton and we have a community outreach service in Mancetter.
Drop in sessions – you don’t need an appointment for these twice-weekly sessions. The cafes provide free internet access and the opportunity to browse ‘Books on Prescription’
Community outreach – you can access wellbeing support in various locations in your local community through community outreach services. Details of these sessions are available from our local Wellbeing Hubs
One-to-one support - You can book yourself an appointment on one of these free sessions
